So would the firearm alone be fine, or will they want my extra mag as well? lol

It's almost a 4 hour trip, and if I can get the day off, I will try and make it...

OK let me try another angle.
If I'm willing to drive 5hrs from Mckean County anyone willing to meet me to help share the costs? Oh and possibly help push the vehicle if it dies?

I have been in frequent direct contact with Pa. Patriot throughout this ordeal. I'm sure he'd be willing to make contact with me beforehand to take possession of them, either from me, or from a designated location downtown (I have a specific place in mind). I don't know about the politics of the Texas Lunch folks, so it may be best to arrange a face-to-face exchange of some sort.
I'm not sure myself of the politics of the owners, and if Pa patriot cant get them, yes, i could meet you, I plan on leaving work early that day....

chesire, I'll keep you in mind as a backup.

I also found out that I can get the badge holders for .20/each and don't have to get some fixed quantity that I don't need. At this point, I'm planning on making 24 badges (they print out 8 to a page). I'd rather have a couple extra than be short.

Okay, a little off topic.

I know most people are considering a PAFOA shirt to help show support. I always try to make a good impression when in a courtroom (for any reason) and just thought that considering we represent the community as a whole, a dress shirt and slacks would go a long way to dispel the "redneck" image. In the end it's personal preference, but it is also why I wanted to get a more appealing holster, because image does matter and I think it looks more profesional.

Now, that being said I did have a favor to ask someone. If I take the motorcycle I am left with a pair of very uncompromising riding pants. They offer great protection and wind resistance, however they just do not fit into a backpack. Would anyone driving volunteer to let me store them while we are in the courthouse or at lunch? It would certainly make my life easier.

Excellent point. I thought this as well, but was hesitant to bring it up. Ultimately it is a personal preference, and I won't discourage a supporter because of what they wear.

That being said, I myself will be better dressed than I usually am. I don't think I typically embody the 'redneck' image, but anything I can do to elevate my image can only help, IMO.

You must ABSOLUTELY OPEN CARRY, after locking up firearm, leave the EMPTY holster visible for all to see!
Contrasting colors to highlight holster would definetly be appropriate

I like the idea in theory but it presents a slight problem. The standard and safe way to present a loaded firearm in this manner is to remove the entire holster and hand that in. This prevents anyone from handling the firearm and greatly reduces the chances for a ND, especially considering firearms without external safeties.

Perhaps people could bring an extra holster to wear as a demonstration? This will be safer and should get the point across.
