It's not a bad idea, I just don't think the Sheriff will have many supporters, so we should be fine....

But buttons are a nice touch.

I MIGHT be there. I have the morning off and have requested the rest of the day off. Hopefully I will know for sure by Tuesday.

I would offer my vehicle but well I do not think the 30 mile assist will really help anyone.

I like the button idea. But in light of the shortness of time and the cost involved, why don't we just print up some "name tag" type of thing.
We could use those 3x4 stickers and print the graphic/logo and text.
Not as slick as buttons but will get the point across all the same and is definitely logistically possible...

Button/tag update:

Found some 'do-it-yourself' round buttons at a local craft supply store for about $1.50 each. These do not require any special additional tool or materials to assemble. Very similar to photo keychains and coffee mugs. Pop it apart, insert your graphic, and snap it closed.

The 'badge' idea has merit to. I have access to "borrow" this style of pin-on badge holder:

I could print the inserts myself, and overall cost would be very minimal. I would need to get all of the badge holders back, or else I will have to purchase some to replace the ones not returned. Also, I'd need to make arrangements for someone else to get ahold of these and distribute them, as I will not be available to the group until after the hearing.

The badge holders are a good idea. I do not know how to ensure the return of them though...

I vote for the stick on badges. No fuss, no muss.

Hmm....in that case I already have a stack of 8 1/2 X 11 "full sheet stickers". I use them for various projects as they can be cut to spec and simply peel and stick. Perhaps this is the way to go. My own personal experience with peel and stick labels on clothing is that they don't stick long and easily show wear and look crappy. I wouldn't have a big problem with buying the pin-on buttons, as they could be used again for whatever....assuming again that I get them back.

Additional design ideas would be good. I like the simplicity of the one chesire did. The one thing I did notice about it was the PAFOA logo was a little grainy.

How much are the badge holders?

The wife is forcing me to do some shopping this evening. I could pick some up...

Not sure. I know Staples sell an Avery product as a "kit"....holder, blank inserts all together. I'm not even sure if you can buy just the holder part. My wife has them at work where they're re-used for different functions.

Don't go out of your way...I'm sure we can come up with some type of workable solution that won't involve too much work.

I've seen them in two different sizes also. I think the 3" X 4" size is too big and personally prefer the 2.5" X 3.5".

Dan, Could I get your permission to use the PAFOA logo on this project, pending your approval of the final design, and if so, could I get a good resolution copy of the logo?
