I don't anticipate a problem with that. Even if we come up with 15 or 20, they have a back room. Late afternoon or early evening on a Tuesday shouldn't be too crowded.

Couldn't hurt. Maybe there should be a seperate 'mini tally' for both the before and after meetings. Presumably, not every single person will be at both.

I will not be available for any pre-hearing activities. I do plan to attend the meal afterwards, and my 11-year old son will be with me too.

I'm also aware of one other local (non-PAFOA) that plans to attend. He is also expecting a friend of his to make the trip down from NY/NJ. This friend is a retired NY police officer, and may have an additional friend or two with him as well. I haven't spoken to him directly yet (my wife works with his wife). I hear he's not a highly social person, so he/they may have no interest in joining us, but I do plan to extend an invitation to them. I'll be sure to post if I learn anything concrete from them

Hi all, unfortunately I cannot attend, but had a thought. Maybe someone could make up nametag type of things for those attending that read "I support Mr. Rotz" or something to that effect to let all in the courtroom know how many are behind Gnbrotz. Would be good for other forum members to recognize each other also.

Good idea! I'm no graphic artist, but if anyone else runs with this, feel free to use my 'real' name, Greg Rotz. The press and others you all will come in contact with have no idea who 'gnbrotz' is, but may recognize my name from the newspaper article.

Okie... here's my plan, as I posted it to the original thread: (Times have been modified to accommodate lunch beforehand)

I'll be leaving from the Beechview area no later than 8am on the 8th... I have room for 1 (three if two of them don't mind riding in the back seat of a 2 Door Focus...)

Keep in mind that I plan on sticking around for the dinner after...

PM me or contact me on Instant Messenger if you'd like to carpool or caravan, and I'll reply back with my phone number.

If you want to Caravan from the Pittsburgh area, we can meet at my place, or in Monroville. The Lowe's parking lot (4200 William Penn Hwy) would be a good place. If you plan on caravaning with me, it would be a good idea to bring an FRS radio with you so we can keep in contact. I have an extra pair of them, just in case.

It's about 2h 45m from that point to the courthouse in Chambersburg - taking into account traffic.

Anyone who wants to caravan would be wise to arrive at Lowe's around 9:00 so we can be on the road NO LATER THAN 9:30am.

On my list of errands today is the local craft supply store to check out materials to make the buttons yourself. I'll post back what I find.
