BRAVO!!! I've been waiting anxiously all day to see how this turned out, and I am glad that we still live in a country where justice can prevail, and individuals still have rights!

just to add to chorus...
congrats and thanks for standing up for our rights. i hope there is some way for you to collect your legal fees from the former-sheriff's pocket...prolly not, but there should be...kinda like no one was ever held legally accountable for illegally confiscating guns in NOLA after katrina, i imagine the former-sheriff will also not be held accountable for knowingly revoking your license without cause. it's a great day in that the judge got it right, but it is a very sad day in that an american citizen (and those who supported him) had to shell out thousands of dollars to undo an injustice that was visited upon him by an abusive government official who most likely will not be held accountable. that shouldn't cost the citizen (or his supporters) a dime. |

As posted in the other thread:
I was called by my reporter friend who was there and she said his LTCF was ordered to be reinstated as of today by the judge. I guess they didn't even hear much testiomony. The attorney's met with the judge and discussed it all. So it seems not much info was discussed. But it sounds like justice was served. But she will be doing a story about the hearing. And since I dated her for a couple years, and she grew up in a redneck town, and she studied law, I have faith that she will write a good story. Congrats Greg!!!
