I will be the one with the Gold Plated Desert Eagle .50 on his hip!

(not really, but it would be funny!)

Well, we should dress nicely so crazy bling is out of the question, but pearl grips are considered a touch of class. Black goes with everything so I'll be sporting a Taurus PT92. Matching serial numbers are all the rage this season but some think it's just a fad. ;-)

Ridiculous note: Saw in the gun shop I go to a "blinged up" Taurus PT92. Chrome plated, gold levers and pearl grips. I almost shed a tear thinking of the weapon that lies under all the crap.

As of now I'm still planning on getting dinner after the hearing, but as I have said depending on weather I might be leaving earlier.

Can't wait to meet everyone!

Good wishes to you. I haven't chimed in on this post yet. But it is BS how a lonely deputy constable could cause such a PIA for you by calling some higher power (aka JA suit/joker) and getting the Sherriff to go in on this matter is just ridiculous.

I would drag the constable from the polling place by HMF ears to the hearing and let him explain to all of you attending where he learned his firearms laws from.

It makes me mad and sick at the same time.

Approximately how long will this hearing likely last? Just curious. This is my first interaction of any kind with the court system.

I don't think there's any way to know. My side has seven different witnesses that may be called. Not sure how many the Sheriff may have. It's possible it could take an hour, but I'd guess far less.
