However! Keep in mind the ruling may not be issued at the time of hearing.
Actually, I should be able to swing both laptop and PDA so as long as I can get some WI-FI we will get the word out ASAP.

Actually Patriot, if you need to use either just let me know. It'll be charged and ready.

ETA: It appears I can't read

Oh well, I'll bring them anyways just in case.

I like what the one person on the posting on the newspaper about the article said. "Next thing you know, FOX NEWS and CNN will have trucks here for the hearing". Imagine if it went that far. I think we would get a ruling that day for sure if that the case.

I also spoke with the Manager at New Texas Lunch, told her basially we would be using the diner as a leap-off point. I told her to not worry about setting aside room for a large party as I figure most wont be sitting to eat. "I figure most folks will just be enjoying a cup of coffee or two, perhaps a bagel" I explained to her there would be firearms present, she said she didnt see a problem with it but was going to check with the owner. I'm going to call back over there in 2 or so hours and just get the final word.

RWhiteman--Any problems with Texas Lunch? If so, I may be able to help. I used to bounce The Orchards for the Kalathas family and still talk to them whenever I'm in there.

Reminder:

I'll have the "I support Greg Rotz" badges to hand out.
I anticipate being at Newt Texas Lunch around 1200 or 1230.

I'm inclined to say don't bother. I'm not a fan of "asking for permission". But I understand your concern due to the group/size/travel and purpose of the meeting point

I just want to say good luck to Greg, and a safe trip to all attending. I truly wish I could attend. I'll be there in spirit.

Just a head's up for everyone:

Providing the weather report for tomorrow is correct, by my calculations we would hit a spot of rain on the way back. Depending on when you leave it will be around the greensburg area. The front is moving about 12-15 MPH so just figgure that into your calculations.

That being said the chance is about 40% precip as reported so we don't really know how much we're going to get but it looks to be a decent travel day, at least heading out there.

For the history buffs, Chambersburg had some neat events int he past. I want to go see the gallows, and sing Johnny Cash

Woo hoo! My boss just gave me the OK to take off tomorrow! I will definitely be coming! My holster should be here today as well. I hope it's a good fit. I will be the fat guy driving the rediculously beatup red Honda Civic plastered with bumper stickers.

Just out of curiosity, what is everyone bringing?
Is this almost an occasion that is suitable for a BBQ gun?
