My preferred carry weapon can and does vary with perceived circumstances.

Most Of Time: S&W 642CT Pocket Holster (love that little red laser dot)
Often: Glock 19 IWB Holster
Occasionally: Sig 229 Belt Holster or (SmartCarry for deep concealment)
(Quite often the 642 is my back up bug)

Ammo for carry: Sig 229 (Cor-Bon 9mmLuger+P 125gr JHP)
Glock 19 (Cor-Bon 9mmLuger+P 125gr JHP)
S&W 642CT (Cor-Bon 38Special+P 125gr JHP)

I always carry at approximately 2 ˝ o’clock position (except SmartCarry) so my weapon is in the same general area.
Always locked & loaded (one in the chamber).

I carry a Springfield Armory XD in 9mm in a Fist#19 IWB holster.

It's very comfortable with a good belt (I use a Wilderness Instructor Belt).

I should also add that I'm not very big (6'1" 165lbs), but with the right clothing only the most well trained eye can tell that I'm carrying.

HK USP45 loaded with 13 Speer Gold Dots +P's. I carry an additional 13 shot back up magazine with me. I figure if I don't stop it or kill it with 26 rounds of 45 caliber ammunition I'm in big trouble.

Guess as a newbie I'd better add my 2c!

Having carried several platforms this 226 ST has been my EDC for all but two years now. I like large and heavy and fortunately have the garment options and lifestyle that makes it easy.

you know Chris, I've been meaning to ask, what exactly do you use for your back ground in all these wonderful pics?

John - real simple really - just Wal-Mart red fleece

I experimented with various fabrics and colorsway back - some with a weave gave me problems with moire patterns and colors, well - in the end the red seemed to give me what I wanted.

Another point tho - I use a white sheet over the shooting area to get diffuse light and so decrease blocky shadows. Not 100% but better than flash. Tungsten light sources - 2 or 3 - and white balance set to suit.

The originals are big but by time I have reduced and compressed they do suffer a bit. Sorta compromize for web use.

They always look good, "we"** just got a new camera and have been going a little crazy seeing as how we have no kids other than 2 cats, and lots of guns...

**Note: "We" means the wife, it's supopsed to "ours" like the guns are "ours" but "We" means "ours" minus "me"....actaully the only time she says "ours" is when I say the guns are "mine"....I can never win
