Default Bazooka

Hey Mark, I thought you carried that Bazooka that you have hanging on the wall in your shop...no holster required! Mike45

Being a 10mm fan my carry is usually a Colt Delta Elite or a Glock 29 if not in the 10mm mood.
I go to the .45ACP Colts, Detonics, or Para's

Generally: Kimber Ultra Carry IWB
For dress: S&W 642 SmartCarry
For deep conceal, casual clothes, or clothes without a belt: Taurus PT140, SmartCarry
Always: Surefire E2D and Gerber Tanto folder. May be replaced with Kershaw Blur soon.
If practical, 642 in BUB pocket in 5.11 fleece jacket.

Some people strongly advise against different methods of carry saying you will reach for a gun thats not there, but I just cant always have my first choice. The 642/SmartCarry combo is only for dress occasions, generally very low threat. In these situations, you just cant carry IWB-and I hate tuckables. I dont like the Kimber in the SmartCarry because the hammer and beavertail make it tough to draw; hence the PT140/SmartCarry when I cant wear a belt, or if I need to tuck a shirt.

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue. How do you solve it?

I generally carry a Glock 23. If I carry under a coat, it's in a Fobus Paddle holster for on and off ease.

Out to dinner, It's in a Sidearmor IWB.

My BUG is a Kahr P9 covert. When I pocket carry, it's in a Kytac Pockit Lockit.
For work, it's in a desantis ankle rig. I have a Lou Alessi ankle holster but the Desantis seems to be more secure. This gun is carried more than my Glock.

Colt Mustang Pocketlite in a front pocket holster. Or my SigTac coat if the weather permits.
