Where do you carry your CC Weapon

Where is your gun located on your waistband when your carrying concealed? Use the clock as reference so we are all thinking the same way. 12 being straight ahead. 3 being right hand 9 being left. You get the idea.

Why do you carry there?

What are the advantages of carrying in that location?

What are the disadvantages of carrying in that location.

Do you carry IWB or outside?

If IWB, is your set up tuckable, or do you rely on a shirt hanging loosely or jacket to cover it?

I always carry SOB, if my shirt is going to be untucked i wear an IWB don hume, for tucked in shirt days I wear a belly band, but around my waist always SOB.

I just feel much more comfortable than having it anywhere else, easy to get to if your sitting down.

i carry IWB (not tuckable) at 3 o'clock (with forward cant if using my c-tac). i never tuck my shirts in. in the summer i often just have an untucked t-shirt for a cover garmet.

advantages:

1. conceals well there for me.
2. comfortable...can sit in any chair, bend over, drive, jog, etc. without any issues
3. good position to draw from

disavantages: i can't really think of any for me, but some people have trouble concealing well at 3 o'clcok and other people don't find it comfortable.

I carry right at 6oclock, and straight up and down no cant for me.

I carry at 3 o clock, outside the waistband. Kydex paddle holster. Small enough to cover with a T-Shirt. Disadvantages, not really sure I can think of any. The paddle is kinda difficult to remove when I'm not gonna carry like in the house or church or at work.

I carry at about 3:30 to 4:00.

Winter OWB with plenty of cover garments.
Summer IWB with just minimal cover garments.

I carry either a SIG P239 in 40S&W or a SIG P220 in 45ACP.

All my holsters are Galco.

Real deep cover is my P3AT in a pocket holster.
