The only other point I have is that right now, nobody knows what happened between that incident and the Sheriff revoking Mr. Rotz's permit. I expect some of that will come out in court.

Well, we don't know if anything happened between the incident and the revocation. What if nothing happened?
Other than the constable and the sheriff talking, of course. Anf Gnbrotz posting the incident report on here...

Keep in mind that the Constable's office is an agency of one... we don't have a supervisor in the sense that the officer on the street does. So who the Constable called is not known at this time (though the Sheriff is a likely candidate) and what was said is not known either.

There's a lot of "assuming" going on about what MUST have happened or what MUST have been said, and I'm just saying that we don't know what happened or what was said at this point. It's possible that one of the commenters on the newspaper article ("me" for what that's worth... but the "me" posting there and going back and forth with Greg's wife is not me this poster here) called in a complaint to the Sheriff or PSP. Particularly since it's a small community and most of the voters know one another.

I'm *very* curious to hear "the rest of the story". We just can't be sure what it s yet. The newspaper article had wrong material facts (like Constables being unable to carry at the polls). GNBROTZ posted his side of the story. We do not know the whole story.

Who cares if they called and complained...who cares is the President of the M-Fing United States complained, it still has no affect on the facts of the case and the facts are that the sheriff is talking out of both sides of his mouth. He revoked Greg's permit without valid grounds, and admits that he did nothing wrong, at the same time claiming he is some kind of threat.

The rights of the citizens to bear arms in the defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.

I'm not commenting about the Sheriff at this time, just not sure that the Constable did anything in the wrong here.

Don't know if it will work that way though?

I think it was wrong when, he checked his own little rule book and concluded that there was no law precluding a citizen from OC at the polls, yet still opened his big, stupid vindictive mouth to call someone and tell them something happened.

Nothing happened. Don't you get that? It's the same as him calling whomever and saying "hey, today so and so pulled up carrying his wallet and when I asked him to leave it in the car, he declined. Here's his name. Etc."

The constable is a dufous for telling anyone anything about this complete nonissue non-incident.
