I carried Concealed when I went to vote. I talked to the local police that were there sitting inside. I must admist, I felt like I was doing something wrong, even though I wasn't.

Thanks for sharing this story. Learn something every time I come here. I would give you a positive rep point but I have 0 rep powers so it wouldn't matter.

This is right up there with not being restricted to carrying only a revolver when in the woods.

I believe they where doing something illegal though, they where sitting inside the polling place?? I don't believe LEO's are allowed there unless they are on a call

Interesting.

One reason the rule applies to police is to eliminate any claims of police intimidating people into losing their rights (to vote, for example).

Instead, the constable actually does try to make you give up your rights (to carry). Just wonderful.

I don't get that a LEO cant be there but constables can be. yet constables can be appointed by a judge, so who's more likely to try to intimidate you?? How about
