I agree with this. It's time to make a bit of a stink over this...just do it in a nice way. Get ahold of your district Rep ASAP and let him know that the Sheriff revoked your permit over this incident. If he's as pro-gun as you mentioned, he can put the squeeze on them. Also, follow everyone else's advice and get a lawyer ASAP.

Oh man, I'm just now reading this news...

gnbrotz, hang in there. I don't know what else to say right now.
I'll say a prayer that this gets resolved without too much strain on you and your family.

I don't know that sending "angry" letters (by us) is going to help, and I will not consider any letter writing unless you think it would be of some benefit to you.

I'm all for chipping in to help.
There are a lot of us here in Pittsburgh who may be interested in getting together a "group donation" to send your way if it looks like you are headed for a legal battle.
I'm going to address this with the guys who will be getting together on Sunday for the Group Shoot and see what comes of it.

Hang in there. If the scenario unfolded as you described and you are as rational and level-headed as you appear from your posts, I think there's light at the end of the tunnel.

You've got my support! I'll be watching this thread, but if you need anything, send a PM.

I'm not too great at letter writing, but I'm think if that sheriff gets a few politely worded letters telling him if he acts this way towards legal gun owners, he'll be voted out...might just have him change his mind! I hope we have quite a few members willing to help from your county.

Last year, the profits of my pen turning provided for a few donations to PAFOA, and a few private donations. There was a little $50 left in the paypal account, and I decided to send some your way.

PS. For those of you who think e-bay/Paypal is a bad thing, this is what allowed me to send 2 donations last year to PAFOA and to this person today.
http://members.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI...d=penturner_pa

Might be a shameless plug for my pens, but what ever works right?

This year, because of product costs, I will have to raise my minimum from $12 to $15 meaning that anything after $15 per pen/pencil sold, will go towards donations. When I say I need deer antlers, this is where It goes, as the product is cost free exept for the pen kits, I can donate more to the causes.

In part, the money send to you today was made possible by the purchase of pens made for and sold to members here last year. Jeff Aka Lycanthrope purchased 3 pens if i remember correctly, one of them from antlers he donated.

Let's see what the letter contains on Monday, and see what council advises gnbrotz. I agree with the making noise part (anyone have any good media contacts?) but lets wait until gnbrotz knows what he's up against. My guess is it is a summons for violating 6106 because the idiot doesn't know OC is not prohibited with a LTCF.

As for the donations, money is tight right now, man is it tight. I'm going to look over the gun racks this weekend and find something to put up for sale for defense fund money.
Maybe we should start a thread in the for sale section too, just for general stuff. We can all use one thread to sell stuff for the legal fund...

If/when there is a hearing on this matter please post the date/time/location so we can show up for moral support as well.

Sons of bitches...this kinda thing agitates the hell outta me when people in positions of "authority" abuse the hell outta it cause they were proven wrong. I hope the bastards end up not only giving you your LTCF back but having to pay all your legal fees as well.

God bless, positive thoughts and prayers coming your way! Go GET EM!
