I have a SureFire weapon light, M961XM07 Mill. Univ. WL, 9-Volt, 1.62" Head, Dual Thumbscrew Mount, and I compared it with my brand new, 4Sevens Qwark Tactical AA flashlight.
The difference in brightness and even throw between the two seems to be negligible. With an MSRP of over $400, the Surefire seems to be a joke compared to the $59 Qwark. I don't get it. Perhaps you could shed some light on the cost disparity? |

The Company is American and employ well paid American workers, and yes the lights are expensive but of superb quality as well is the customer service. Fenix lights are made in China. The lights are well made and are one of the best (if not the best) of the Chinese lights imports, (Most other Chinese lights, mostly available on e-bay are junk) Surefire been conservative are not yet using the new modules R-2 and Q-5 that the Fenixes are using. So in many instances the power of the Surefires LED's is inferior to the power of the Fenixes. But the Fenixes have to be used with caution, as the heat could be too much for the modules and can eventually degrade the power and the quality of the beam (If used without cooling off period, for long strech of time).
