There is no limit, other than what you feel you can carry comfortably. I always have two speed strips when I carry the 38 and usually one spare mag when I carry the HK.

God... where do these silly rumors start?? It should be legal to pummel someone with an ax handle for creating such untruths.

Actually it is legal to pummel someone with a maul handle provided your are in immanent danger of personnel injury or possibly death. An axe handle would not be legal unless it is over 18". Rumor away

That figures.. you're probably are limited to 10 swings too of the maul handle and it must have no more than 10 foreign made parts too..

wilddude4202001,

Please don't take offense to my suggestion of pummeling.. Its aimed at the person that started spreading the incorrect info that you had the misfortune of hearing.

I think the law of common sense dictates you need at least as many bullets as it will take to render the attacker harmless to you.
As long as you feel you are still in danger from your assailant, you havent used enough bullets yet Then you have to remember, stupidity breeds in numbers, so carry at least 2 to 3 times the amount of bullets you feel should have been safe to stop one zombie, cause they hang out in groups.

Since the repeal of the Assault Handle Ban, there is no limit to the number of swings or foreign made parts.... except in NJ, where maul/axe handles must be registered with the department of forestry and cannot be carried off one's own woodland.
