Default WV Attorney General Site Now Shows PA Reciprocity

It is showing Full Reciprocity on the map! Nothing on PA AG site yet.

purely speculation on my part, but i would doubt it, as they do not honor the non-res FL, Or non-res Va, permits so i doubt they would make the jump to allow non res Pa permits.....

Although this is a huge leap for concealed carry, if you really wanted to, you could have carried in Wv anyway as it is an open carry state, and no permit is needed to OPEN carry in a vehicle or on foot.

Attorney General McGraw Annouces Handgun Reciprocity Agreement with Pennsylvania

Charleston – Attorney General Darrell McGraw announced today that he has entered into a concealed handgun reciprocity agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

“Residents of West Virginia and Pennsylvania who are age 21 and older, who hold valid concealed licenses or permits issued in their home state may now carry concealed handguns in each state,” stated McGraw. “It is important for licensees to remember to have their license in their possession and when in a reciprocating state the licensee is bound by the laws of that state relating to concealed handguns,” said McGraw.

Information relating to West Virginia handgun laws generally and reciprocity and recognition of state law licenses is available on the Attorney General’s website: www.wvago.gov
Looks like the answer is no.

The next two states on my wish list are Ohio, and South Carolina... I don't really see the hang up with South Carolina... I think Ohio may have some training requirements that we'll need to work through...

At least two hangups with SC, one being training, the other is the "junk" gun thing. SC has, or at least had, a law prohibiting guns made of inferior metals(zinc). They reasons why there is no FL+SC agreement. SC wont overlook many things, however they are fairly new to CCW issuance having only allowed CCW in the last 3 years or so. Give them time to work out their laws, there has been a couple bills proposed down there to allow recognition of all states and/or removing certain requirements.
