My wife got her LTCF
She applied last Thursday, it came Wednesday. I'll try to post scans this weeekend of the letter and little business cards that came with it.

congrats thats great we can add another to the ranks. is she a member on herre if not she should be. and then she can get with the other fine ladies we have.

Wow, fast turn around. I would be interested in seeing the informational handout that comes with her LTCF. Mine was full of mis-information.

I really don't have a problem with that stuff. Yeah, a PAOpencarry flier would have been better. But we've seen far worse. Seems well-intended.

The only one I didn't like was the "always keep your gun unloaded until ready to use." OK for a range piece, but a carry/home defense gun should be kept loaded, and this was sent with an LTCF
I do wonder about the courtesy cards. I know the FOP gives out similar cards, which they call "get out jail free cards" unofficially. FOP mebers tell you they might get you out of a ticket, or minor things like that. To me it smacks of good 'ol boy stuff. I was hoping to go today but it didn't pan out
