I like how it only mentions that you cannot carry a gun in a Lebonan County courthouse. Being it is a STATE thing it would have made more sense to say "any courthouse".

Congrats. My wife put her app in the mail 10/29. We'll see how long it takes, but my guess is it'll be longer than that.

So, what exactly are the "courtesy cards" for?

Has anyone ever tried to use these to, say, get out of a speeding ticket? LOL! (Bad idea to try that by the way)

More progress. Yesterday we were talking about shopping for holsters, and I made a comment about her only needing one for CC (She has continually maintained that she would never ever ever OC. Ever.), and she said "Well, I would probably only OC at PAFOA events, or if we were around a lot of people OCing."

I'm a bad influence

I'm still trying to figure it out. The FOP "get out of jail free" cards are the only similar things I've ever seen. Maybe it means the sheriff is our buddy and we should invite him to the next group shoot.

Kinda strange too that the card has the logo and wording of the PA Sheriff's Assoc. on it.
Probably like the card you get if you "join" that association by making a donation.

Unless you are showing it to a Lebanon Co. sheriff deputy, you'll probably get laughed at by other LEOs.

lol, I doubt I would try it. They are still in the envelope with the original LTCF. We had her LTCF reduced and laminated at staples as per the Sheriff department employees suggestion, and that is the one she will carry. The guy at staples said they are doing double digits of reductions/laminations every day.

My Lebanon county LTCF arrived Thursday after a 2 week wait. I also only got 1 courtesy card. I guess the Sheriff doesn't feel as courteous towards me

Makes a nice companion to my still valid Lehigh Valley issued card. I was thinking if I'm ever asked to produce one I can respond with "Paper or plastic?"
but then I went and got it reduced and laminated.
