I have three sons, one already has his CCW. One turned 21 in September and the last has to wait until next year. Sam downloaded the app and filled it out, went Downtown and turned it in. He had the approval verification yellow card back in 4 days! That's amazing for Allegheny. Maybe they're finally at least trying to get with the program. I never had my renewal approvals back in less than 20 some days.

First, let me say that your dad sucks. Congrats to him, though!

Second, my sheriff declares that he has 45 business days to issue - and tries to use all of them. He calls your home municipality PD to "investigate" you. Once they approve you, then you have to meet their tiny scheduling window to get your picture taken.

I had to write a letter to a county commissioner to get mine in four weeks.
