The Mods pretty much only pick on members when they're being complete tools.
And they *rarely* delete or change the content of member's posts unless they were being pretty much darn tools (usually about something specific). They're pretty good that way. So, if the shoe fits... .

Look, I don't know you, and I'm new here, but I'm no rookie to the real world, and I know bad advice and mis-statements of fact when I see it. "Amateur Lawyering" is a rules violation here, and I've stated to the moderator that I'll provide no more advice that could be construed as that, plain and simple. I've already stated here that I'm not a lawyer, just a guy who, as a business owner, has spent the last 30 years interpreting contracts, township, county (Delaware County) state and federal ordinances, and have had significant experience with them. As to law enforcement knowledge, my wife if a former Federal LEO, worked a pretty seedy group of bad guys for quite some time, and has more than a passing familiarity with the law and its interpretation. I follow her advice to the letter, as she knows better than me what is or isn't going to be a problem with law enforcement contact. Don't like what I post, that's fine. We can choose to agree or disagree, but to lower this discussion to this personal a level is unseemly, and doesn't belong on a site where we're supposed to have a commonality based in philosophy and interests. some county sheriffs issue LTCF that look like a Sportsmans Permit , i seen a few , not every Sheriff issues a Photo Copied one. Its up to the LEO that asks for the LTCF license and decides what to do if you dont have it on you some will make a hassle and some wont.

FWIW .... my wife was issued a LTCF from Delaware County, DL type, lost her purse and was told she'd have to re-apply to get another one at the Sheriff's Office.

Seems to me her original license would need to be cancelled or something before a new one is issued? That really sux...why make her apply for a new one when the old one is perfectly valid and just needs re-issued?
