Red face Luzurne ltcf/sheriff, where to park?

I'm applying for my license tomorrow, and I avoid the river st area of WB like the plague.

I'm coming from the PLains direction...should I park in the garage just before the Pierce st bridge on the right? The uncovered lot across from the courthouse? Elsewhere?

Sorry for the stupid question, but I am going to be running short of time to aimlessly drive around the area.

TIA

Just thinking...are government places closed on Friday the 3rd for the July 4th holiday?

A-ha. Found this in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette:

Most government offices closed tomorrow for holiday
Thursday, July 02, 2009
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Because Independence Day is Saturday, the holiday will be observed by city, county, state and federal offices and courts tomorrow, when all will be closed.

Post Offices will be open tomorrow, but many will shorten retail lobby hours. Regular mail delivery for tomorrow will not be affected, but no mail will be delivered Saturday.

Damn, that sucks. I was getting my motorcycle permit as well. I thought they always did the following Monday if the holiday fell on a weekend?

You could call your sheriff in the morning, but I imagine he'll be off also. At least now you won't have wasted a trip

It looks like you could get that on Friday, as the PENNDot centers are closed on the 4th, but not the 3rd:

Make sure to take the Motorcycle Safety Program then as well. You get your license at the end and it's a great course for new and experienced riders.

Yeah, I have their schedule. You have to have your permit first though, which is where I'm at now.

I used to ride all the time, but I think Reagan was in his first term last time I was on a bike.

Yep that's right. Make sure to sign up as early as you can. Spots fill up quick! Good luck and ride safe!

Took this course. It was pretty nice. Passed with flying colors and it's FREE! When you pass they stamp your permit and you then how a Motorcycle license no need to go back to the DMV.
