Default holster for 1911

can anybody recommend a good in the waistband holster for a 1911 with a compensator

What size 1911, what kind of compensator, leather or kydex?

If it's a 5" gun, you're going to have to go with a custom order unless you want the comp rubbing along your leg...

Umm, the comp could make finding a holster interesting. Check out Tucker gun leather. He makes a couple holsters that I think have open bottoms. Many of his holsters are leather/kydex and are very well made. Out of curiosity, why the compensated pistol for carry?

a leather holster the gun is 8 1/2 plus about 1 inch for the compensator it has a 5 inch barrel .something nice looking but in the 60 and down dollar range

the comp to me makes it look mean even tho it takes some of the pop off of it ..it will scare the shit out of someone

Making your holster for your 1911 with compensator should be no problem.
