Hi I would love to know the right way to apply for concealed firearm license & how much it's gonna costs

It'll be about $25-$30, depending on if you want a plastic card or not.

You can call the Mercer County Sheriff at (724)-662-6135. They can tell you where you need to go to fill out the appropriate form.

Go to the Mercer Co. Sheriffs Dept, ask for the application and what you need to do, do that, pay the fee (should be around $30) and wait for notification. PA is a shall issue so as long as you have nothing on your record that would cause it to be denied they will issue.

Would just like to add that there is no such thing as a concealed carry license in PA. We have a LTCF (License to Carry Firearms). There is no requirement that you have to conceal in PA. As long as you have your LTCF, you can OC everywhere that you can CC.

Shenango, the Sheriffs Office is in the Emergency Management center (911 building). Go into Mercer on 62, turn right at the Sheetz light, its on the left hand side about a block or two down (If you didn't know). Go in through the front door. They use to have a stack of applications right inside that door. I thought it cost me $19 but it might have increased since I got mine a few years ago. It took about a month for them to notify me to come in to get my picture taken for the permit. Then it took about 10 min to get. I'm originally from Sharon myself.
