Default Pennsylvania's Concealed Carry, Non Resident ?

Does Pa. issue non resident CCLs? If so, where would I apply? I'm told, Sheriff's Department.
I'm near the Mason- Dixon (Delta, Pa.). I travel Pa. for Business & Pleasure, member of Gun Club in Lancaster County.

To receive a non-resident LTCF in PA you must possess a similar permit from your home state. With my understanding of Maryland's laws, I'm not sure you would qualify.

When I lived in Rep. Of NJ. I got my Non-Res PA permit from Centre(sp) County Sheriff Nau. They wanted a copy of my NJ DL and NJ Firearms Rifle 'Carry' Card. They mailed me the card to sign and send back. Got back in 1 week. TAT was 3 weeks total if I recall.

Maryland isn't a Shall Issue State, one must have a good & substancial reason, Self Defence isn't one unless your politically connected.

If one has a resident CCW anywhere already, my advice is: Bucks County courthouse, where they will likely give a non-res CCW right there on the spot.

Maybe you could get a non-res FLA license instead? That requires no pre-existing CCW from anywhere, and PA honors the FLA CCW (so does DE).

Considering where you live that would be my advise as well.

probably the best idea there. next step I'd say to Lambo is - just move to PA. if you're on the border right there... why not.

I know a lot of people that lived in NJ bordering Bucks have done the same thing. Doesn't do anything different really to the work drive and eventually they just find a new job in PA to eliminate that daily border cross all together.

so yeah... c'mon over to a free state and we can say "Welcome to America!"
