Most definitely. Longest rifle targets are only 50 yards out, so no special gear/optics is needed.

I can't make it Saturday but could make it Sunday!

I'ver never shot one of these before & I'm dying to try one!

Is a Ruger 10/22 okay to use for the rifle portion? It's the only rifle I have since I don't hunt!

Different matches require different shells. Most full blown 3 gun matches use slugs and shot. For this shoot, just bring normal 7 1/2 lead shot loads.

We do a shoot on the third Saturday of every month. This one is special for Halloween.

As far as I know, in order to shoot .22LR, you have to shoot .22LR in both rifle AND pistol. But I'll tell ya what. PM me if you this will be a problem for you. If you can bring your own .223 ammo, you can shoot my AR.

Thanks Dave! That's VERY generous of you....I know Dick's has the .223 in stock. A good friend of mine offered to let me borrow his AK (but it has canted sights & you have to aim way left at 100yds to hit anything!). A guy here at work offered me his H&K rifle (in .45) as well & he may go along to the next one.

I work early saturday mornings & I'm usually home by 7:30 am. Not sure if I'd have enough time to get up there for the safety meeting. I may go and "observe" though as I also need some supplies from Shyda's....are spectators allowed?

Thanks again for the offer Dave! I've never shot an AR before & have been dying to try one (and do a build from scratch!). With the prices of lowers & parts kits dropping, I'm pretty tempted.
