Default Shot timer?

I'd really like to get a shot timer to work on my speed for competition. Anyone know who makes a decent affordable model? I just need something that I can use when I'm alone at the range, so I'd need to be able to set it to give me an audible start cue, and tell me how long the shot string took, etc etc.

I've got a CED 7000. I like it because it's small, simple to use, and does all you've asked for and more. The rechargeable battery seems to last an eternity (first charged it in DEC, I've used it for 3 matches, battery just came off the "full" indicator at the match Sunday....)

Check CED's website, there are several accessories for the 7000, including a car charger, and a battery pack that'll let you run it off AA batteries if you're out and the main battery goes dead.

You can also get a wrist strap, or a belt clip for it, to make timing yourself a little easier.

If you have a iPhone there is an shot timer application from Surefire that I believe is free. It works pretty well, probably nowhere near as good as the one referenced above. I don't use it too much but I might soon.

CED 7000...... Everyone has there own opinion though. You should do some research on what exactly you want it to do. I think that most all do pretty much the same thing.
