No, he was bump firing. It was the last drill of the day. He had a double feed early on so he sort of went off on his own.

The display at the end is not indicative of the course. We spend the first 3 hours of the first day working on fundamentals, positions, manipulations with the gun empty. Then and only then do we go weapons hot. We insure that you have a very robust foundation before continuing. Gun handling skills are a priority on the first day.
