Default Serious Request for Help/Donations

Here's a chance to help move America back toward the Constitution. I have finished a book on America's ills and solutions to them. Entitled "The Ellis Doctrine", it contains 15 chapters that start with the history of the Constitution and end with a chapter on "the next step" for all patriotic Americans. Not surprisingly, the chapter on the 2nd Amendment is the biggest, and here exclusively for PAFOA members is a sneak preview excerpt:

"One of the most specious arguments against the individual right to keep and bear arms is the one that interprets the second amendment as referring to the militia or the army as having that right, and not the private citizen. Just about every army ever raised was equipped with weapons of some sort, from clubs, swords, spears, and axes to rifles and machine guns; the list is endless. The only conclusion one can draw from this is that the founding fathers knew that any militia or army would of necessity have arms, thus there was no need codify it. What did need spelling out was the belief that all citizens had the right to keep and bear arms. This was an inherent right, not a privilege bestowed by the Constitution, and was thus spelled out in the Second Amendment to guarantee that right “shall not be infringed”. Those are the word from the amendment, not mine. The Second Amendment reads:

“A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed”.

It doesn’t say the right of the militia, or the right of the state, it says “..the right of the people…”. How can anyone misconstrue this? One has only to look to the writings of many of the statesmen and founders to realize that the true interpretation was meant to be that the private citizen was the recipient of that right".

So, how can you help? I have a publishing contract in hand, and need financial assistance for the actual publishing, setting up of the web site, getting the book listed , etc. I have an email traveling cyberspace with all the details, feel free to copy it and forward where appropriate.
Here's a copy of the email:

This is not your ordinary patriotic email. No flags waving, or martial music playing, no appeals to support our troops. It is an appeal to those who feel that our country is headed down the wrong path. If you feel that there is nothing wrong in America today, please just delete this email. If however, you feel that America is in need of help in returning to the country it once was under the Constitution, read on.

I have authored the manuscript “The Ellis Doctrine”, a look at today in America, outlining what I believe are the problems, and suggesting solutions. While not political in nature, it does address problems with our political system, as well as many others confronting the average citizen. It concentrates on the Constitutional rights of the citizen and how they are being denied, and what can be done about it. Here are a few of the chapter titles:

Restoring the Republic under the Constitution
The Overhaul of Congress
Fair Taxation in Today’s Economy
Consumer Credit and Usury
Welfare and Health Insurance.

15 chapters long, I feel it is a book that should be put before the American public, a must read for everyone who believes in individual freedom, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

So if you have read this far, here is how you can help- a donation, however small, to help defray publishing costs. (Publishing costs include not only the actual printing, but getting the book on Amazon, Barns & Noble, setting up the author’s website, online ordering, etc. Strategic Book Publishing has already offered a contract). Donations can be made via Paypal, (ID patriotsfire@gmail.com ) or by mail to Clayton Ellis, 15492 RT 35 S, Mifflin, PA 17058. OK, a couple incentives. First, anyone donating becomes a charter member in the Patriotsfire Club. Second, anyone donating $50 or more will receive a copy of the book personalized and signed by the author. If you cannot afford to donate, (and many of us can’t) you can still help by forwarding this email to everyone on your email list.

Should the donations exceed the publishing and advertising costs, any excess contributions will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project: (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) . In addition, I have pledged ˝ of all author’s royalties to the same project.

If you have any questions, or just want to comment on the state of the country, Constitutional questions, etc, feel free to email me at the above address. And if you are a Facebook member, look up C Warren Ellis.

Any and all help sincerely appreciated,
C. Warren Ellis

So, along with all the writing of congressmen which people here are famous for, give this some thought.........all the conditions stated in the email are open to anyone - club member, personalized book, etc.....and feel free to email, or PM if you like. The matter is now open for discussion........
