Default WTS: AK starter kit

F/S: everything needed (more or less) to build and shoot your own AK. SOLD

1 Copes handpicked Romanian kit, mirror bore, matching trunnions/bolt/carrier,receiver stubs removed, rivets still need drilled out, barrel pin partially drilled out, furniture excellent, missing pistol grip. Most of kit still in plastic bags from Copes/

1 NDS-3 receiver,as received through my FFL. Excellent choice for any AK build,NodakSpud receivers are some of the best around.

1 E. German 4-cell mag pouch,raindrop pattern.

6 assorted AK mags, all in good/excellent condition and function perfectly.

265 rounds assorted 7.62x39 Wolf ammunition:
120 rds Black Box HP 122gr
84 rds Military Classic HP 122gr.
60 rds Military Classic FMJ 124gr
1 rd (don't ask) Black Box FMJ 124gr

Here's the story: I bought the kit and receiver, started to remove the old receiver stubs and barrel pin,and hit a snag. This barrel pin has to be one of the worst around, defeated a 40ton press, had a machine shop start to drill it out. The machinist went away so work stopped,I got an AR,lost interest. The stuff has been sitting here for a month or so,I start school next week,I'm not gonna have time for the AR much less building an AK.

Besides, with ammo like it is,I need to cut down on the calibers I support. This will buy me some .223 dies and some ammo. The AR will be stress relief for school.

Anyway,I figure the kit is partially torn down but missing a pistol grip and you'll need to get a barrel pin-they're $5 from Copes. So I figure the kit is worth $90,with the mags, mag pouch, ammo I think $225 is a good price. FTF only,I'm not shipping,I live in Lancaster County and commute through Berks to Montco,I'll travel a reasonable distance to meet you. Cash is always welcome,USPS M.O. also accepted. I'll put everything in the box Copes shipped the kit in,one nice package.SOLD

No pics, the kit is in great shape and the numbers match and the receiver is brand new. The mags are used, they all worked well in my SAR before I sold it,the pouch is about mint.

I'll take it if you're willing to drive over to the west side of York or meet up at the Harrisburg gunshow.
