Maxpedition makes some durable products. I have the newer S type jumbo versa pack and it's huge. It will hold my XD45 Service along with 8 AR15 30rd mags.

True, it is the mirror image of the Fat Boy and they state "it is better for left side carry", but don't get that confused with "left hand draw" It is designed for same side draw or cross draw. The standard "Fat Boy" or the type "S" can be carried on either side, if moved to the opposite side, it will just hang a few inches further back under your arm and the pocket location will be reversed.

The following are the major differences between the S-type and the standard Fatboy:

(1) The footprint of the S-type is in the MIRROR IMAGE of the footprint of the standard Fatboy.

(2) The S-type has an additional anchor attachment point where the cellphone pocket is on the standard Fatboy. It also has a 2" wide Velcro loop patch on the front lid for attachment of ID patches.

(3) The S-type provides more modular capacity than the standard Fatboy with three anchor attachment points.
