I'm not really interested but you may want to post the size as I don't think you'll find any buyers without it

I agree, the size would be nice. Also if you could post a picture or 2.

Errr not that its my business, but wouldnt those shirts belong to the City? I know for a fact the sholder badges do, the shirt once those taken off is just a shirt, but I would be very carefull about selling or buying the patches as they do not belong to individuals but to the Police. Not to mention that wearing that would be impersonating a police Officer.

While I agree with some of what you said Frenchy, I think that because they are old style shirts and patches they are fine to own. I talked to a friend of mine who just happens to be a Pittsburgh Detective and he didn't say anything about them being illegal to own. Now to wear them and try to pretend that you are an officer is illegal, but to just wear them might not be illegal. I have pilots shirts from Eastern Airlines that I wear occasionally, but I've never claimed to be a pilot. I've even gotten out of a speeding ticket once wearing one of them. The officer told me I was flying down the road on my motorcycle. When he said that to me I told him I had my pilots shirt on and showed him... He just laughed and told me to go and I did.. I still remember that and don't speed in that area anymore and that's been years...
If I ever wear them I will remove the patches, just to be on the safe side. They will more then like just get hung up along with the other uniforms I have. |
