WTT: Springfield 1873 Trapdoor Carbine for Correct Grade 03A3 or Garand

This was my father's, he came in ownership in 1920. He never fired it! The parts missing were do to him removing them as a precaution when my brother & I were young. When Pop passed I looked close through his possessions but they weren't to be found. I believe he had trashed them years before.

Details:
What's here is all original, I have repaired & refinished the Stock due to cracking. There is Pitting in Bore nearest to the Receiver. I've consulted a few experts & they have claimed worth at no less than $800.00 as is. Also claimed it to be restorable & can be made operationable!

Missing Parts:
Hammer, Hammer Screw, Rear Sight, Barrel Band, Lock Spring, Lock Screw.

Broken Parts: Hinge Pin & Lock Spring Latch

Note: I have struggled with the fact of ever parting with this, planned on restoring it for a long time but I believe Pop would rather see me have something I could make better use of.
