OK OK! So I go to this shoot, and SteveD hands me about 40 pieces of wood!

Now I have about 40 pieces more to work with...
gnbrotz Also Known As Greg Rotz has some troubles, So here is the deal.

I will contribute these 20 of the 38 pieces to making a pen for you. Here is the trick, I don’t know what you will send for it but it has to cover more then the $15 to actually make the pen. So we are looking at $20 to start.




This is the actual wood we are starting from.
2 pieces are Hickory,
4 pieces are zebrawood
3 pieces are Black walnut
2 pieces are red oak
17 pieces are mahogany
and 10 pieces are maple.

You chose your wood. I make the pen for you. Normally I would sell these pens $15 to make myself a small profit. Don’t get me wrong, I am still going to cover the cost of the pens, but seeing the wood was given to me, I will customize these with a RKBA pocket clip for a $20 sale and will donate $10 in your name to the gnbrotz fund Also Known As Greg Rotz fund.
The total cost to you will be $20+actual shipping. $10 will go to Greg.

Now you don’t get the luxury of seeing the pen before it is made, but I will purchase for this occasion this nifty clip at a cost of $3.90 this so you can remember you supported your RKBA.


So in reality, I will be donating as much as you will be and you will get a great pen, even if you could not see it before it was made!

To boot, because you might not like one of the woods that where donated to me, I will add my "stash" to the lot, but limit the sale to 20 pens total.

Thanks for the offer of this, but I believe they are against using paypal because of the anti-Gun stance, being part of E-bay and all. they don't want to give that little slice to them.

Ok So I will also make a pen out of deer antler for purchase. $30 gets the pen, $15 goes to the fund. ONE Pen out of deer antler only.
Already 5 pens gone, and no one even seen them made yet. If your not sure of the quality of these pens, and I dont blame you, ask Bear Titan and Lycanthrope about them.

Just ordered the Specialty pocket clips, they should arrive in 3 to 4 days.

Pens promised so far = 5

• Zebra wood.
• One laminated. Any color
• One of anything to go with the laminated.
• One laminated pinkish . (you cant guess who got a pinkish Shotgun)
• One laminated Rainbow {1/4 of the way there!!!}

I have been getting questioned about woods and laminates, and the 38 original pieces.

Lets clear that up, a laminate (or Dymanwood) is like a tight plywood of varying colors that looks like the ones to the left here:
Dont feel Silly, I wouldnt know either if i was not into this stuff, and most people who know of this wood have invested in a laminated but stock for a rifle.


The finish on these pens is not a laquer but a wax laquer mix that helps keep the color, there is no coat to be scratched off like a hard wood floor, these woods are polished to a point that I could send them with out a wax on them, they would look polised, but to preserve to colors a was/laquer mix is applied to them.
Hint, the woods above have no polish on them yet, nice eh!
I spend most of my time bringing the scratches off the wood with steel wool and leather believe it or not so that there are no scratches to fill in with laquer.

The 38 blanks of wood are only significative, if you see a wood you would prefer, either by looks or by name, tell me, I can turn any of the woods you see there, the only exeption i have is to the Deer antlers. (they cost 3 to 4 times the price of wood blanks) most of the wood blans cost around $2.50 at retail, some i get at a better price by bidding on lots, but in general I see all woods as equal, so if you wanted a Paduk pen,
Like this one, then tell me that, you might not know the names, but if you describe to me the colors and general aspects of the wood you like, I can see if i have it.

This is why i posted all the woods I have so you can see what there is to choose from.

So if you chose a wood, and would like to change, its not too late till the pen is actually assembled.

yankees98a believes they would make a great Christmas gift at $12, but at $20 to help a Brother here, they are too much... Before any more send this kind of suggestion, Let me say, with the gun clip, these guns come up to $9.24 so at $20 with a $10 donation, I make exactly .76 cents on these pens, and still give away a deer antler pen worth $30.+

You are being fair, I really like the pens but I gave all I could right now. It's not about getting a good deal on a pen or gun it's about helping a fellow gun owner. not everyone thinks like that. don't sweat it.
