I was going to post this in the Hunting Forum but it's Chester County specific so I dropped it here. If it belongs elsewhere, please move it or instruct me to post it elsewhere.
I enjoyed hunting squirrels and I used to hunt my grandfather's place near West Chester. It was rather easy to get my daily limit there but the property was sold and 30 houses were built. That was the end of my hunting career as I knew it... Several years have gone by and I'm trying to get back into it but I'm having a hard time finding a place to go! In recent years, I've gone to areas in Marsh Creek State Park but joggers and bikers get in my way while I'm in some of the areas that seem to hold a fair amount of squirrels. Has anyone had any luck out there? Furthermore, are there any other areas I'm missing? I also get up to French Creek State Park to hunt them but have seen very few and have never got any up there.
Here's a map of the area. I've also provided a similar map with highlighted (in yellow ovals) areas I've hunted before.
