re: Good FFL for Transfers near Exton?
I am looking for someone careful :-), for firearm transfers around the Exton, PA area. I don't want a store, like Dicks, that will bounce, play, drop, etc the things I get around. I had been going to a 01FFL associated with a gun range near Coatesville, but they moved. Does anyone have someone good that they would recommend? Note: I have already looked at GunBroker, AuctionArms, ShotGunNews and several other FFL listings on the web. They are usually very old, and most of the people on there have either quit, or do not have complete contact info. I would prefer a recommendation from someone that knows a FFL that they like. Thanks ~Bill Last edited by bills; December 30th, 2006 at 09:44 PM. |

Most of the stuff you're looking for:
If you still need to know who the 01 dealers are near you, see BATFE's web page for more information. Let me know if you run into pre-1898 Russian Nagant revolvers, I'd like one too. |

re: 03 FFL
I am pretty aware of the 03 (C&R) FFL. However, I would still prefer a (recommended) 01 FFL near the Exton area. I wouldn't mind the exact BATFE link to the 01 FFL list though. I've clicked around the site, but haven't found anything other than links to Verify a given FFL #, or to request a postal mailed list. http://www.atf.gov/firearms/ffl/index.htm The full list may be online somewhere, but I haven't found it yet. I may have to resort to the paper route :-) ... The pre-1898 Russian Nagants do exist, but are pretty rare. Thanks ~Bill |

Have you tried Gordon's Sports Supply in Eagle, PA? I have never done a transfer with them but I know they do a lot of them. I have done other business there and like them. They are in Eagle right up Rt. 100 from Exton, about a mile or so past the PA turnpike.
I don't know if this link will work. http://www.gordonssportssupply.com/g...b_site_001.htm |

I dunno if they are good, but there is ILA sports in West Chester. They're a smaller place, so they may be more kind with stuff.

At FCO, your shipment stays in the front office until you come in to pick it up. At that time, the package is brought over to the gun counter and opened for the first time in your presence. After the $5 background check is completed and any other cost are paid, you can take your firearm home with you.
