I'll swing by there this weekend and see who's there and talk to them and try to get the straight poop. If anyone heads out that way before the weekend and can nail any of the RO's down to give an explanation about this, please do so and post it or PM me. Thanks.
P.S. If you get there before me (I won't be able to get there before Sat. the 1st) and we CAN reserve it, DO IT. Reserve at a minimum the rifle range and if you can reserve both the pistol and rifle do that. Thanks.

What about backing for the handgun range? There's never any cardboard in the posts there like on the side ranges; what do you usually use for that and where do you get it? Thanks; looking forward to a fun time.

yeah this is good point. metal frame always gets shot out before anything.
And specially them being short, if its out, may be a while before they get it back up...

Last time I was out there (week and a half ago) all the pistol range target holders are up. On the aux range all of the target holders on the 50 and 100 yard range were up and 3 of the 5 were up on the short aux range.
Cardboard has always been a problem out there on the Aux ranges so just bring you own! The dementions for the cardboard they have out there is 24x29 5/8th this fit's both the pistol range and all of the aux range metal holders. In the past I have gone to O.W. Houts for carboard, ask them for and empty refridg. box and cut it down from there. That's what I plan on doing to be super cheep to emulate IPSC targets now that I have a stencle. I plan on heading out there tomorrow morning for a little while. Maybe around 9 or 10 so if your out there and you see a green toyota avalon stop and say hey! Cheers, josh

Sorry, I forgot about backers. You could also stop by Lowes (or anyone who sells large appliances and ask if they have any scrap appliance boxes you can have. You could also stop by Spectra, Woodcrafters or or other place that makes furniture and se what type of scraps they have. The plywood they use to make drawer bottoms and bookcase/cabinet backs makes good holders and is easy to cut.
