Not sure if it's already been posted or not, but I gotta throw Xringshooter into the ring. I just picked up a special order "M16A1 clone" AR-15 lower receiver from him. He's local, Lemont, and a decent guy that seems genuinly interested in guns and helping other people that are interested in guns.

Having met XRingShooter, I'd buy a gun from him in a heartbeat. If you're looking for an AR, he's definitely worth a PM. Once you meet him and get to talking with him about guns, you'll probably be buying an AR from him.

I've been building my own AR-15s. I have all the essential tools I need, minus the headspace gauges. But Xringshooter has them!!! This is not healthy for my bank accounts.

Yeah, great guy. And I will probably be using him from now on for my purchases since he also seems to be an AR addict and has a couple of nice builds himself.

Now I need to find a 1911 pistolsmith.

I've also had a gun transfered through Ron, AKA Xringshooter. He's a really nice guy, seems to know a lot, and was willing to field my newbie questions. I plan on Ron being my primary FFL. I will possibly make another purchase in the coming months... maybe for an M1A or something once I save up enough money.

Ya, Ron's cool, and he's now my preferred guy for transfers. He knows a lot and has seen a lot, so beware, he likes to talk. I can talk someone's ear off too, so this is a bad combination if either of us have to be somewhere at a certain time!

Not huge, but very friendly staff, decent selection and excellent prices. A friend of mine picked up a brand new CZ pistol in 40S&W for $319

They are somehow related to the Belding & Mull that makes or has made reloading equipment since 1906 I think the guy said.

Definitely worth a look. (I was drooling over 3! M1A's they have)
