Johnstown area get together

It seems there are a few of us from the Johnstown/Somerset region now. Is anyone interested in getting together?

I am not overly familiar with the local ranges but I don't think any of them will permit many non members to shoot as the 'Westie Gang' has arranged with PMSC. So I would think a shooting meet may be a long shot (at least initially). Perhaps we can discuss local range opportunities and all join the same range? Maybe a non shooting get together at a local restaurant to discuss 2A issues and local issues? I'll admit to being new on the political front and could benefit from such discussions.

So, I guess what you've got here is a rambling post brainstorming for local interest.

I'm not familiar with the ranges around here either. I am a new member at the Ferndale Sportsman's Club, but I don't think they would host any such event.

I was looking for a PAGC range in the area, but they all seem to be, 'Closed until further notice.'

I'm sure we can figure something out.

NineseveN - are you thinking week night or week end?

What does most everyone have for free time and we'll shoot for the most common. I work an earlier shift so anything late on a week night I'll pay a price for it at 4:30 the next morning. We've got the PAFOA Shoot at PMSC on the 9th and Petra and I are heading for the cabin the following weekend so that's my blackout dates for September (unless something breaks at work, SysAdmin = on call )

Thoughts?

I may be interested in coming to a shoot out there... I am originally from Bedford county and visit family quite often in both bedford and central city....

I was actually thinking this saturday or next - during the day/late morning/early afternoon or sometime in there, but I can do a week night, I just won't be out terribly late is all.
