Default Ammo

Hello,

I'm still finding it difficult to locate ammo, and if I do its priced high. Where is everyone getting ammo at? I'd get some online, but I don't want to pay extra for the shipping weight.

Thanks,

Keep checking at walmarts. Check the local gun shops. It's a little bit of a drive but they have lots of ammo in stock for current reasonable prices, Enck's Gun Barn

Hey Hawk....I'm in Muhlenberg as well. I've had good luck at Gun Traders on Rt.61 as well as Richland Shooter's Supply out near Lebanon. I reload my own pistol ammo, so I haven't had a need lately. Keep checking Wal Marts. It's all in the timing. They DO get it in but flies off the shelf pretty quick. Gun Traders had a nice selection when I was in over the weekend. I picked up 200 rounds of 7.62x39 for my buddy for $60.00 that was loosely bagged. 12g military 00 buckshot was $4.95 for a box of 5.

Richland seems to have most reasonable prices around. Cabelas is hit or miss, but they are way over priced.

What type of ammo are you looking for? I've been really lucky finding WWB in the 45acp variety. Our local Walmart's get about ten 100 round boxes a week. They do go very fast. I've only caught 9mm at Walmart once, but Enck's always has some. He hasn't had much 45 lately...

As QUADZILLA said, Richland Shooter's Supply is well stocked, but I guess it would be maybe 45 min. drive for you. Whenever I go to Cabelas they are out of pistol ammo.
(By the way, I do not shop at WAL-MART, union thing.)

If you're at Richland shooters then Encks Gun Barn is only 10 min away, always make it a double stop.

Looking for 45acp. Every time I go to walmart they are out. I usually go to the 5th st walmart, since its close to me. What a god awful store that is...
