That was a very interesting article! Thanks for the link. I had no idea about the history of the long rifle in Berks County. Great history lesson!

"Berks County Long Rifles and Gunmakers Exhibit at the Historical Society of Berks County.

The exhibit opens Saturday and runs to the end of the year."

I'll have to see if I can get down there to check out the exhibit.

One of my ancestors' work is there.
