New power plant being built by United Corsack, Evergreen Community Power. I'm instructing the new operators there. I'll be back on the 20th. I made it through the week, no shots fired ...........

The police are very busy there. Due to client evening request I only made it to the Ugly Oyster, food was great and the oysters were VERY ugly. Diedre the bar keep was a great visit. I had a good time. My only other free evening, I went to Hooters. Drove out to Richland Shooters on Wednesday night. Got there about 4:30 and they were closed for supper. Ended up at the Endzone until they opened back up at 6:00. Great place for ammo but I do prefer a little more inventory.

I'm willing to meet up with anyone when I return the week after next.

Just had lunch here yesterday. GREAT Italian food and reasonably priced.

In a residential area off the beaten track across from a park. Anthony's Trattoria

Make sure you ask about the famous bullet hole in the north door. I think it is still there, that door was not replaced in the remodel. There is one hell of a story behind it.

I lived there for 4 years, not the most exciting city but like anything...it is what you make of it.

+1 for The Ugly Oyster. Very nice place with a good selection of wild beers.

West Reading is nice, the main strip there is a neat little pseudo-touristy area. An attempt at being quaint. Some good bars there too.

The Pagoda is worth checking out at sunset...but ya better carry.

Should have run over to Enck's gun barn. They are about 10 minutes away. On Thursday nights a group of us hang out from about 6:00 till 8. Talk, look at new inventory and pick up ordered items or things we need for the weekend.

Another good place to eat and drink is Union Jacks on the Manatawny. Huge beer selection and great wings. A little south of Reading but worth the drive in my opinion.

I'm just outside Reading in Kenhorst so PM/email me if you want to check something out.
