Public Range in/near Berks county
I am looking for an indoor range around Berks county that is open to the public.
I tried Stoney Creek but they want the CCW permit, since I'm not a PA resident (I'm military stationed up here), I can't get one. I've seen on here that French Creek (phoenixville) might work, any ideas? Anywhere closer to Reading? Thanks! Last edited by Dan30; August 7th, 2011 at 06:27 PM.

French Creek Outfitters is a nice range. I am not aware of any indoor ranges between Reading and French Creek Outfitters.

Northern Chester County Sportsmans Club requires NRA membership but that is it. We have a number of members from the Reading area and are not that far from French Creek Outfitters. Check it out online at www.nccsc.us

JFYI , you dont need to be a resident to obtain a pa ccl, if you have one from another state, you didnt say if you did or not

You can obtain a ltcf here if you're in the military as long as you have orders stating that you are stationed here.

It is not an indoor range but we just refurbished the pistol/rifle range and added a roof and new shooting stations. I shoot there year round . Membership is 10.00 yr. and 10.00 to join 20.00 total.
