Yes, U-max is reman ammo. I use it in .223 and have great results. Accurate and clean.

What's with the Targetmaster BS? You have to buy ammo from them to shoot there???? That's crap, and I wouldn't let them part me from my money at all.

BTW, my choice for the best 9mm 115 gr FMJ is Fiocchi. You can find it for $7.50 a box. It's hot, accurate & super clean.

You don't have to buy their ammo, but they've banned all the inexpensive options (Blazer, Wolf, remanufactured, reloads, WWB, even S&B), such that the ammo you could bring is not that much cheaper than what they're selling. IOW, they're trying to remove the incentive to BYO.

Maybe I'm cynical, but their policy is indistinguishable from "let's make a list of all the ammo that sells online cheaper than ours, then ban them."

That said, I always have some "reputable" ammo around (American Eagle, etc) for exactly these occasions, so when I go there (a friend and newby shooter lives nearby), I have something that passes muster. Sort of like going to a bar with a dress code above your norm.

why not buy WWB and fill up old UMC boxes with it. Hell use old Cor-Bon ot some expensive Carry ammo 20 rd boxes. Really screw with them.
