Default Homemade Auto Case Feeder

OK guys.....I like to tinker when I have some time, which is not often, but thought I could build a case feeder for my L-N-L. So I start to check out what is online to get a clue of what the process is when I stumbled on this.....a case feeder for only $10 to build!!!!!!

It blew me away. Starting mine soon. Thought you guys might like to give it a go to...

The basic case feeder link.

Well, if we can adapt something like that to the L_N_L. That would be great.

Not neccessarily . . . . I am as cost-conscious as anyone, I suppose, but the collator on my Lee Loadmaster does all that for me. I just dump in a handfull of cases and just the motion of using the press causes the cases to drop down the tubes, mouth upward, ready to go.

The guy DID have a nice solution to the problem he was presented with, didn't he? He deserves more than one point for ingenuity. Interchangeable for caliber and using a screwdriver, fer goodness sake, for a splined shaft. Rube Goldberg would be proud.

Yes....almost a MacGuiver. He used what ever he had avail. Imagine what he could do with real material.

The screwdriver also surprised me. Did not know what it was until he pointed it out.

Pretty cool! Nice explanations on how the case feeders actually work. I also like how his has all the features of one you'd buy--interchangeable plates, automatic shutoff, etc.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

Thumbs up on the screwdriver. Recycling reuse reduce.

Thanks for explaining how the cases feed bottom down. I was really starting to think you were using voodoo or black magic.

I wish I had the time and motivation to post all my homemade gadgets, tweaks, and modifications.

Very clever. Now I have to watch out for a small motor.

Agree....not sure I have enough stuff laying around in my garage. Maybe a trip to Radio Shack might help.

It just goes to show you that a smart guy can make his own tools and machines. That was very impressive. Everything we have out there in life was dreamed up by somebody at one time or another.
