Default Think I found the load for my Savage 12FV .223

Took a ride out to SGL #91 to check out the loads for a few rifles. Think this one will work, but I still might tweak it a bit.

10 round group at 100yds. Don't mind the two flyers to the right, that was me and I called them. Load was 25.0gr of H335, Remington cases, 55gr Hornady V-Max bullets and CCI SR primers.

Not many people at the range on Sunday. For a rifle range, the re-built range is nice, although the roof sure amplifies the report of the rifles.

Those are pretty nice. My savage likes the 69gr bullets better than the 55's. you might want to try a box of them with the H335 and see how they do.

I had some 62gr FMJ with me, but with mixed cases (used for AR range work) and the rifle didn't seem to like them. I will try and pick up some 68's this week and work up a few loads.
