Lightbulb Re: Should I move on to a turret or progressive press?

I use a Hornady LnL AP, and I love it it has features that some of the other presses don't have, and is a rock solid press, I like the bushings for ease of changing out dies, it's quick and easy, also you can pull a casing out to check it if you want at any station with ease, the ram and moving parts of the press have cert fittings so you can keep it greased and running smooth and easy, the primer feed has worked perfect for me without failure, you have five stations just like the Dillon 650, and they are auto indexing, the advantage to the Hornady is you can put your dies in any station you want, which is a plus, I thought I would wait until I knew I would like the LnL AP before ordering the auto case loader, which I'll be doing, this will make this press a dream machine, I can't say enough good things about this press, it just moves along like clock work, producing perfect rounds with every pull of the handle.

Dillon makes fine Presses, I wouldn't ever say a thing bad about them, they are a quality company with a great rep. but just like Dillon there is another company that stands behind there products too,It was my Dillon Buds that told me about the LnL, and a few of them had already changed over to them, if you haven't tried a LnL AP or seen one you owe it to yourself to check them out, I did and I'm glad I did, changing from one caliber to another is a snap, and it doesn't cost anything like the others, and it will handle just about all the calibers. the powder measure is smooth and consistent. Hornady really did there home work on this one, the new presses have all the refinements.

I hope this will give you something else to consider.

Regards
