It has a lacquered steel case.
The lacquer may gum up your chamber causing FTE's or other issues.
Some may say the steel will prematurely wear out some parts faster, such as the extractor and whatnot.

$10/box isn't that cheap and ammo is not as hard to find these days.

Personally, I'd pass.

Yeah, last weekend. I would not use those to throw at somebody. They are Russian bimetal loads. My Ruger SR9 about spit the clip out. (They fired , but stovepiping happened a bunch).

I reload, so I pick up my brass, and accidentally picked them up with my good nickel brass. I spend 15 minutes last night getting rid of them from my fired bag of shells.

Don't buy them, unless you hate your gun.

Don't buy steel!!! I bought some steel 9mm rounds, and they are the worst things ever...roughly one in twenty fails to extract in a Springfield XD that has never jammed with any other ammo.

In my opinion, it is well worth spending an extra few bucks and getting non-steel ammo.

9mm is pretty hard to come by. And at $10? Where are you shopping? I'll come buy it all.

I would jump over that price

but if you can get it when you cant get anything else or its significantlt cheaper and you dont save brass it will work

I have ran thousands of rounds of all kinds of steel case ammo in all kinds of guns without issue.

Yeap the price is definitely right and 9mm is extremely hard to come by now days at any prices, but i am a lil afraid to run it through a glock. I think i am gonna pass on this one though ... steel case i might live with but lacquer steel not so much

http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/G...15grn_FMJ.html
much much better!!
http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/W...15grn_FMJ.html
not too bad either. I might go with the golden bear ... brash finish should help with extracting and go easy on the gun in general ( I think ... please correct me if i am wrong) BTW feel free to jump on that too

Nothing wrong with that ammo. I shoot brown bear and silver bear a lot in all sorts of calibers with no issues.
