I was on a road trip to Mississippi and checked a Walmart at LookOut Mountain, TN. No pistol ammo there but 357 Sig and a box of 44 mag. The guy behind the counter said "This is the south and there are plenty of rednecks here that have guns." He and I both smiled at that.
I told him if that was the criteria, then there were lots of rednecks in PA also. Both of us laughed.
When I got down to the Jackson, MS area, the local Walmart that my brother shops in had plenty of Winchester 9mm white box in 50 ($10) and 100 ($20) packs. They had a single box of Winchester White Box 45 in the 100 pack. ($30) They had plenty of Blazer Brass 40 in 50 pack ($12.50) and 9 ($?) as well. They even had a single 100 box of Remington 40 for $29 and I wondered why it was higher until I noticed it was 100 rounds of JHP. (Jacketed Hollow Point) All the rest was FMJ. (Full Metal Jacket) Just like here in PA, there was a 6 box limit per person, per visit.

Two or three boxes of .22 value pack, but remember there should still be some Winchester left at Bethlehem on Route 22.

Happy Ammo Day!
I seriously hope they still have some tomorrow. I want some more 9mm.

The Quakertown Wal-Mart had one box of 115 grain hollow point 9mm Luger, 100 rounds, for $23.95... so I grabbed it. They had several boxes of 550 rounds 22LR for $13.47 or thereabout, so I took one of those too.
