FC is pretty decent, been reloading a bit of it.

The .50 is more than likely Lake City (L. C.) I'll bet.

Are you planning on posting batches for sale in the marketplace here? I may be interested in some more .308 myself.

Yeah, once we get it sorted (some big boxes have .308 and .300 mixed) I'll post it up on here and let all of you guys have a crack at it before the wolves at arfcom get a chance to feed. After looking at it again, we probably have a solid 700 pounds.

I just checked and the .50 BMG rounds have an SL43 headstamp on them. Do you guys have any idea what it's worth? Thanks!

DON"T USE PAYPAL to accept payment for the brass!

Please read their Firearms, Weapons, and Knives Policy:

https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/we...ame&ed=weapons

Especially this pargraph:
AMMUNITION
You may not use PayPal to buy or sell high-capacity magazines (those which hold more than 10 rounds), ammunition with propellant (e.g., gunpowder), or blank ammunition unless the seller has been expressly approved by PayPal as detailed below. The term "ammunition" means ammunition or cartridge cases, primers, bullets, or propellant powder designed for use in any firearm.

You can use PayPal if the buyer and seller are smart about it. Just don't mention anything in the title or comments for the transaction that you're handling something outside the PayPal user policies and you're OK. It also helps to know who you're dealing with to some extent (i.e., not a first time transaction, or you know the person from exchanging posts on forums, etc.)

Did a quick search on E-bay, looked at about a half dozen auctions, it seems most once fired .50 is going for about 50 cents a round...most of it for sale has been cleaned though...so I don't know if you would want to knock the price down or not.

SL43 is probably milsurp. If it is, that brass is over 60 years old.
There's also the issue of corrosive primers that MIGHT have been used back then in .50 cal. ammo. I understand that corrosive primers might weaken the brass that they are used in. That could be just an old wive's tale though.
The .50 cal. just might be worth more as scrap brass.
Thanks.

Not a wives tale. Shells that used fulminate of mercury primers would ruin the brass. The mercury chemically attacks it. They pretty much went by the wayside in the early 1900s, WW1 era. Regular corrosive ammo that we find today in surplus available used a potassium chlorate primer, this made potassium chloride when ignited leaving salt in the barrel that would cause rust.
