Default .45 AFP& clays

Anyone have a soft target load with 200gr or 230gr cast and clays?

Not familiar with a .45 AFP. On .45 ACP RN lead I use 3.8 gr of clays, works well with all my .45's even the kahr.

Yep, Looked like a coal miner after a day at the range. Face, arms and guns coated with coal dust when I use bullseye or unique. Clays much cleaner and seems accurate to me.

I've not used Clays in a .45 ACP but have used Universal and it is very clean. Hodgdon does list a 230 LRN load using Clays starting at 3.5 gr and 200 LSWC load starting at 3.6 gr of Clays. The loads are found at http://www.hodgdon.com/.
