Default Polymer cased Ammo

i dont know if anyone has seen this, but apparently a company in new york is producing polymer cases for the .223. they claim its as "strong, safe, and clean as brass, .... and more waterproof". the company is PCA - Spectrum i think. the box says that at least. the polymer casing is patented as NATEC. drawback is that its not reloadable. anyone think this stuff will catch-on? i dont reload, yet, but i always save my casings in case i do ask someone else to reload for me now and then. its being produced for the military. dont think its been adopted for use yet, but does anyone know any more about this stuff?

I'm sure that GUNRUNNERS OF PA will respond to this one with his "review" of the stuff very soon...

I saw it in action and shot some from his gun, but I'll let him give the juicy details!

The company just went bankrupt.

It's a great concept but it created more problems than it solved.

i wasnt going to buy the ammo, just checking prices on stuff. im interested in buying a 223 or a 22-250 sometime soon. just comparing the prices to see whats cheaper. and i like to see whats out there..see whats new i guess. also i dont shoot anywhere near greencastle. i do most my shooting in mercersburg or st thomas. i used to hunt in harrisonville, but the land was leased to someone else.
